Ok, I admit it. I spazzed and geeked out. I yelled ANDY. But I think it was when he introduced the band. *ducks and runs away
I totally forgot about Kyle giving David that comedian drum beat LOL! Very funny.
The girl number in the beginning was actually 60s girl-group songs (Be My Baby, Leader Of the Pack) and not a holiday song. Dave-trance was strong and had a powerful effect that night! Even so, great recap Shelly!

You are a peach for transcribing this. I'm not surprised though. I know you are as big a fan of Andy as I am! Great job.

Below is my original pitch letter to The Music Box @ the Fonda Theater, which I amended to include David's CAA agent information. I learned that CAA represents David exclusively, so it’s possible that the tour management company only “manages” the tour while David’s agents book it. I’m not sure how it all works, but include all the info. You want to do as much legwork for these people as possible. The easier you make it for them the more likely they’ll do something. They’ll be impressed and motivated. Use my letter as a template, but pick and link some updated concert videos.

This was a killer set list, but some serious sound problems kept this from making it to the top of my concert lists. It was, of course, fantastic, as all of David Cook & The Anthemic's concerts are.

This is a technical suggestion for everyone who loves when Jen or others provide MP3s made from videos of David's performances (or any videos on youtube - and a huge thanks to Jen and everyone else who takes the time do make MP3's and upload them to the file share servers for us).
There's an easy alternative that you can all do all by yourself, if you download the most up-to-date Real Player. You may have to pay for a basic subscription but it's pretty cheap. I'm not sure if the free download offers this.

Great recap
I agree - I never understand those who say David doesn't care how he looks. I always thinks he suits the occasion, from grungy at college shows to dressed up on TV, to everything in between at fairs & theaters. I do think when the tour was at its peak, 4 and 5 shows a week with long bus rides, it was a challenge to pull a really well groomed look together. But he is fashion conscious and always seems very clean to me LOL!
